Rivian spinoff Also to start delivering e-bikes after months of delays
Rivian spin-off Also says it will begin delivering its first TM-B electric bikes next week, following months of supply-chain-related delays. The start of deliveries is significant for the young company because the $4,500 bike is its first customer product and a test of its ability to manufacture, communicate with buyers and build trust after missed deadlines.
The Launch Edition TM-Bs are being shipped from the manufacturer to a US warehouse, with all deliveries expected between next week and September. Also, spun out of Rivian in March 2025 with $105 million from Eclipse, had originally promised spring 2026 deliveries before moving the target to July; it cited shortages of raw materials and electronic components but did not identify the affected parts. Some reservation holders have criticised the company’s communication online, with at least one saying they had cancelled.
