Thousands of runners are set to participate in the Sheffield 10k on Sunday, organised by Jane Tomlinson's Run For All in support of children's and cancer charities. The event will require extensive temporary road closures and parking restrictions across Sheffield city centre to ensure participant safety.

The race begins at 09:30 BST from Arundel Gate, with the route passing through Endcliffe Park and Bingham Park before returning to the finish line. Road closures will be implemented on a rolling basis between 04:00 and 16:00, affecting major routes including the A61 Ring Road, Arundel Gate, Ecclesall Road and several other city centre streets. Parking suspensions will remain in place from Saturday evening (20:30) until Sunday 16:00. Additional closures for mini and junior events are expected to reopen by 12:30. The event is linked to the Jane Tomlinson Appeal, through which the late Jane Tomlinson CBE raised £1.85m for charity despite living with incurable cancer.
