Sheri Moon Zombie, wife of Rob Zombie and a longtime star of his films, has released her debut single and accompanying music video, "I Love My Robot." The lo-fi punk track, inspired by Shonen Knife, takes a critical look at AI technology and marks her first foray into a music career of her own, having previously been known primarily for her acting roles.

The song will be issued physically on 30 October as the A-side of a limited-edition 12" split picture disc, paired with Rob Zombie's "Sir Lord Acid Wolfman" (from his album The Great Satan) as the B-side, with just 600 copies available worldwide via pre-order. The music video, directed by Rob Zombie, plays up the song's playful camp, casting Sheri Moon as a cheerleader rallying behind her robot. The release comes as Rob Zombie prepares for the "Freaks on Parade" North American tour with co-headliner Marilyn Manson, running from 20 August to 20 September with support from The HU and Orgy.
