Robert Pattinson has explained his improvisational “roll the dice” approach to each take while discussing A24’s *Primetime* with co-star Skyler Gisondo. The film, directed by Lance Oppenheim, dramatises the rise of *To Catch a Predator*, linking Chris Hansen’s pursuit of online predators with his ambition for television fame. Pattinson also served as a producer after years of developing the project with Oppenheim and collaborators.

Pattinson said the film grew from extensive, energetic conversations, including one ten-hour discussion about the script, and that he spent hundreds of hours refining it with Oppenheim. Gisondo identified Dan Plumb’s attempt to imitate Hansen—including copying Pattinson’s voice—as the character’s likely moral turning point, while Pattinson also briefly addressed the forthcoming *The Batman* sequel.
