Robin Givens has joined the recurring cast of Prime Video’s crime thriller Cross for its third season. She will play Senator Mulrooney, an intellectual conservative whose controlling public and family roles conceal troubles involving her son, adding a new character to the series’ expanding Washington, D.C. world.

Cross follows homicide detective and forensic psychologist Alex Cross, played by Aldis Hodge, as he investigates serial killers. The series is based on James Patterson’s characters; its second season centred on a vigilante targeting corrupt billionaire magnates, while Season 3 will continue the show’s high-stakes storylines. Givens is known for Head of the Class and more recently appeared in Harlem and Batwoman.
