Rod Stewart has cancelled the remaining dates of his ‘One Last Time’ North American tour after a successful routine coronary stent procedure, with doctors advising four weeks’ recovery. The 81-year-old said he is already feeling better and expects to return to the stage once fully fit.
The cancellations followed the last-minute withdrawal of an Ohio show on 9 August, initially attributed to a minor unforeseen medical procedure. Stewart’s representatives said he had resumed daily activities, while the disruption adds to other recent health-related tour incidents, including a near-fainting episode in Utah and cancellations caused by a respiratory infection; he has suggested a UK run in 2027 could end his touring career.
