Role Model appeared on The Tonight Show to promote his newly released album, Chuck Timely & The Hourglass, performing its closing track “Harmony” and discussing the record with host Jimmy Fallon. The appearance highlights a busy period for the singer-songwriter, whose support slots for Gracie Abrams helped raise his profile and who is also due to appear in the forthcoming film Good Sex.

The 29-year-old said the concept album uses the character Chuck Timely to explore time, ageing and his experience of being single while friends married. Its earlier single “High Hopes 3000” reached No. 94 on the Billboard Hot 100, while “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out” remains among his biggest songs; Role Model also jokingly removed Fallon from his Notes app “enemies list”.
