Brooks & Dunn gave a devoted fan one of Ronnie Dunn’s guitars during their Grand Ole Opry performance on 12 August, after learning she was attending her 92nd show by the country duo. The gesture became a highlight of the night, prompting a standing ovation and underscoring the pair’s recognition of long-standing audience support.

After the fan was identified by the Opry announcer, Kix Brooks jokingly acknowledged her from the stage before the duo performed songs including “Brand New Man”, “My Next Broken Heart”, “Neon Moon” and “Boot Scootin’ Boogie”. Dunn handed over his guitar during “Neon Moon”; the show took place a day before the 35th anniversary of Brooks & Dunn’s debut album, Brand New Man, which is due to be reissued on vinyl in October.
