Rosie O’Donnell Ends ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ Guest Run With Trump-Roasting Song: “Use That Stable Genius Brain”
Rosie O’Donnell concluded her four-night guest-hosting stint on Jimmy Kimmel Live by delivering a comedic song aimed at Donald Trump. The segment extended their longstanding public feud and included criticism of Trump’s conduct, polling and presidency, underscoring the programme’s use of political satire and free-speech themes.
Opening Friday’s monologue, O’Donnell referred to herself as “Nasty” Rosie after a White House spokesperson called her a “nasty woman” in response to earlier jokes. She thanked Kimmel and then sang a rewritten version of “Danny Boy”, making jokes about Trump’s diet, appearance, ballroom plans and Iran before urging him to resign. Kimmel had announced O’Donnell in June as part of a summer guest-host line-up including Tiffany Haddish, Anthony Anderson, Colman Domingo, Jelly Roll and Matt Damon.
