Big Walk, the new multiplayer adventure game from the creators of Untitled Goose Game, has launched to widespread critical acclaim ahead of its release on PS5, PC and Switch 2 on 4th August 2026. The game, which lets up to 12 players explore a large open environment together, is notable for arriving as a PlayStation Plus title, meaning subscribers can play it at no extra cost, making its strong reception particularly good news for those with a subscription.

The game currently holds a Metacritic score of 93, placing it among the highest-rated releases of 2026 so far. Reviewers have singled out its inventive puzzles, emphasis on communication and genuinely cooperative design, with Eurogamer awarding it a perfect 5/5, GameSpot giving 9/10 and Nintendo Life scoring it 8/10, though the latter noted some technical issues on Switch 2.
