Maison Estelle, a members’ club in Mayfair popular with celebrities and members of the Royal Family, has been ordered to close after the Metropolitan Police raised concerns about serious crime or disorder. Westminster Council suspended the venue’s alcohol licence immediately, with the club expected to remain shut for 28 days pending a further hearing.
