Royal Mail warns of delivery disruption in 48 UK postcode areas this weekend — full list
Royal Mail has warned that deliveries and collections may be disrupted this weekend in 48 UK postcode areas. It says local staffing and operational problems mean some offices may be unable to deliver to every address as usual, with delays managed by rotating deliveries.
Weekend services are scheduled to run on Saturday 7 November, with parcel deliveries on Sunday 8 November. Glasgow, Nuneaton, Peterborough and Lichfield are among the areas affected. Royal Mail also advises posting Christmas mail early: its stated final dates are 18 December for Second Class, 21 December for First Class and 23 December for Special Delivery Guaranteed.
