RT Features and Rita Cine have announced the cast and released a first look at Iván Fund’s speculative sci-fi drama *Bodies of Summer*. Starring Lee Kang-sheng, Miranda de la Serna and Marcelo Subiotto, the film highlights producer Rodrigo Teixeira’s expanding focus on international and Latin American cinema.

Set in a future where consciousness can survive digitally after death and return in another body, the story follows Rana, who returns after 100 years in an inexpensive, weakened body and searches for his son. The screenplay by Fund and Martín Felipe Castagnet adapts Castagnet’s award-winning novel and reunites the pair after *Dusk Stone* and *The Message*, for which Fund won a Berlin Silver Bear Jury Prize.
