Rumour: Hazelight’s Award-Winning Co-Op Game Might Be Coming To Switch 2

Nintendo Life · 2 hours ago

A rumour suggests that Hazelight's award-winning co-op title It Takes Two could be heading to the Nintendo Switch 2. The claim stems from a document produced by Chinese games distributor Prowell Asia Holdings, which reportedly includes an image of a Switch 2 version of the game, though neither Hazelight nor publisher EA has confirmed anything officially. Given the game's critical acclaim and the recent trend of Switch titles receiving Switch 2 upgrades, the news would likely be welcomed by fans if verified.

According to the leaked listing, the Switch 2 edition would launch in mid-October, support English language, come as a roughly 12.1GB Game-Key Card release, and be published by EA. It Takes Two originally launched in 2021 and won Game of the Year at The Game Awards alongside several other honours, before arriving on the original Switch in 2022 with some graphical compromises. Hazelight most recently brought its game Split Fiction to Switch 2, and Nintendo Life says it will report further details if EA or Hazelight confirm the rumour.
