RUSH Announce Vinyl Reissues of 2112 and Greatest Hits 1974-1987
Rush will reissue its 1976 album 2112 and the 2003 compilation The Spirit of Radio: Greatest Hits 1974–1987 on vinyl on 2 October. The releases mark the 50th anniversary of 2112 and give the greatest-hits collection its first vinyl edition, offering collectors new physical versions of major recordings from the band’s catalogue.
2112 will be pressed as clear vinyl containing black liquid, with a redesigned sleeve featuring a cut-out to display the record. The two-LP Spirit of Radio set spans songs from “Working Man” and “Fly By Night” to “Tom Sawyer”, “Subdivisions” and “Time Stand Still”; the announcement comes while Rush are touring on their “Fifty Something” reunion tour.
