Venezuela experienced two catastrophic earthquakes on June 24, with magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5 striking within seconds of each other. The tremors, the strongest to affect the country in over a century, caused widespread destruction in Caracas and La Guaira, resulting in more than 2,200 deaths, 11,000 injuries, and thousands of people still unaccounted for.

In response, progressive rock band Rush collaborated with Los Angeles-based animation studio Fantoons to produce a special-edition T-shirt featuring the band's iconic Starman logo. All revenues from the limited-edition merchandise will benefit Hogar Bambi, a Venezuelan organisation that has supported orphaned and abandoned children for over thirty years and is now providing emergency food, medicine, and shelter to disaster victims. The effort reflects a broader charitable response, with multiple Venezuelan-born artists using their platforms to mobilise support and resources for those affected by the earthquakes.
