Russell Brand Accuser Says She Reported Comedian To Channel 4 In 2009 After He Allegedly Lay His Head On Her Lap & Demanded Massage

Deadline ·

A woman who worked for Channel 4 told London’s Southwark Crown Court that she reported Russell Brand’s alleged behaviour to her manager in 2009. She said Brand put his head on her lap and demanded a massage; her account is part of the evidence in his trial.

The woman, identified in court as Complainant 6 to protect her anonymity, said her manager assured her the complaint had been escalated. Brand faces seven charges relating to allegations by six women: three counts of rape, three of sexual assault and one of indecent assault.
