Russell Crowe’s 137-Minute War Epic Officially Remains a Global Streaming Smash

Russell Crowe’s 2003 adventure film *Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World* has returned to streaming and entered Apple TV’s global top 10. Its renewed popularity shows how older films can find a large audience again when they become available on a streaming service.

Directed by Peter Weir, the film stars Crowe as Captain Jack Aubrey, leading the crew of the H.M.S. Surprise on a mission to capture a French ship during the Napoleonic Wars.
