Ryan Gosling’s Band Dead Man’s Bones Tease Return
Dead Man’s Bones, the musical duo formed by actor Ryan Gosling and screenwriter Zach Shields, are teasing a return 17 years after releasing their only album. The hints came from Gosling’s wife, Eva Mendes, who posted material intended to summon new music, suggesting the dormant project may be preparing a comeback.
Mendes shared two spooky visuals, one alongside a new Dead Man’s Bones Instagram page, featuring a voice invoking the duo for a twilight dance on 27 October. Their sole album, released in 2009, was made with the Silverlake Conservatory Children’s Choir, founded by Flea. The duo has been inactive since promoting the record, although Cat Power included a version of their song “Pa Pa Power” on her 2022 album *Covers*.
