Ryanair has signed a five-year agreement with Google Cloud, adding Google’s AI, productivity and infrastructure services alongside its recently renewed AWS contract. The airline says this dual-cloud strategy will improve resilience by allowing critical systems to switch providers during outages, supporting its ambition to carry 300 million passengers annually by 2034.

Google Workspace and Google Cloud will be deployed across Ryanair’s 35,000 employees, while Gemini Enterprise will help with crew logistics, decision-making and staff productivity. Ryanair also plans to use DeepMind’s AlphaEvolve for algorithm improvements and WeatherNext for forecasting and maintenance planning; it will retain AWS services for its website and operational planning across its 647-aircraft fleet. Neither company disclosed the deal’s value.
