Sadurn have released “Never Tell Me”, the second preview from their forthcoming album The Underworld. The six-minute indie-folk power ballad has been a live-set closer since before the band’s 2022 debut, Radiator, making its official release significant for long-time followers.

Songwriter G DeGroot began writing the track during a 2021 break-up, but finished it six months later after bringing it to the newly formed full band. DeGroot said this collaborative process distinguishes the new album from Radiator, whose songs were initially written for an acoustic duo; the accompanying video uses handmade puppets, woodland scenes and green-screen imagery to depict travel into another realm. The Underworld is due on 16 October via Run For Cover.
