Sam Elliott's 2002 Vietnam War film We Were Soldiers has re-entered the streaming charts more than two decades after its cinema release, climbing to No. 9 on Lionsgate+ worldwide and reaching No. 1 among films and No. 3 overall on the platform in Germany. The film follows Lt. Col. Hal Moore (Gibson) as he leads American troops into the 1965 Battle of Ia Drang, promising to bring every soldier home.
