Samsung’s new Galaxy Book 6 model is a budget-friendly $799 laptop
Samsung has added a cheaper model to its Galaxy Book 6 laptop range, priced from $799, positioning it as a more affordable Windows rival to devices like the MacBook Neo. It broadens a lineup that previously started above $1,000, giving budget-conscious buyers access to Samsung's latest laptop hardware and software features without the premium price tag of earlier models.
The new machine runs on an Intel Core 3 or Core 5 processor, with storage options of 256GB, 512GB or 1TB and either 8GB or 16GB of RAM. It has a 14-inch 1,920 x 1,200 anti-glare display, up to 25 hours of battery life, 45W fast charging, and a port selection including two USB-C, one USB-A, HDMI 1.4 and a 3.5mm jack. It also includes AI tools such as AI Select and Note Assist, plus Galaxy ecosystem features like cross-device file sharing, and is available in Gray and a new Violet Silver finish in select markets.
