The Verge · 1 month ago

Leaker Evan Blass has shared images and specifications for Samsung's redesigned Galaxy Z Fold 8 ahead of the company's official launch event on 22 July 2026. The leak also included details of the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, giving an early look at Samsung's next foldable line-up just before it is formally unveiled.

The Z Fold 8 appears shorter and wider than previous models, matching earlier leaks, and reportedly features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite For Galaxy chip, 50MP wide and ultra-wide rear cameras, 10MP front-facing cameras on both screens, and up to 26 hours of video playback. The Z Flip 8 is said to pack a 4,300mAh battery with the same camera setup as its predecessor, while the Z Fold 8 Ultra is tipped to have a larger 5,000mAh battery, up to 27 hours of video playback, and a 200MP main rear camera alongside ultra-wide and telephoto lenses.
