Sandustry, the factory game where every single pixel is a resource you can build with, is out in early access

Rock Paper Shotgun · 3 hours ago

Sandustry has launched in early access on Steam, offering a survival and factory-automation game in which every pixel can be mined, processed, mixed or destroyed. Its main appeal is a physics-driven sandbox where players can build production lines while materials react realistically, alongside exploration involving an ancient civilisation’s artefacts.

The game features procedurally generated, fully destructible worlds, allowing players considerable freedom in how they build or dismantle environments. Lantto Games says the current early-access version is playable and includes the advertised core features; development is expected to continue for roughly a year, with a possible price rise later, and a demo is also available.

  • Sandustry launches in Steam early access.
  • Pixels behave as interactive resources with physics.
  • A demo is available before purchase.
