Sarah Ferguson ‘tried to give phone number of Andrew’s ex-girlfriend to FBI director Kash Patel’

Sarah Ferguson reportedly tried to pass FBI director Kash Patel the phone number of British socialite Lady Victoria Hervey, a vocal defender of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. The approach, made in March 2025, is notable given the FBI's role investigating Epstein and its unsuccessful attempts to interview Andrew, and it underlines Ferguson's continued efforts to support her ex-husband despite her own damaging links to Epstein.

The claim emerged from an email sent by FBI attaché David Walker to Patel on 6 March 2025, later published among FBI records on the Epstein investigation and reported by Bloomberg. It stated that "the Duchess of York" had contacted the Bureau believing Patel wanted Hervey's contact details. Hervey, 49, who briefly dated Andrew in 1999, has repeatedly defended him and criticised Epstein victims, including the late Virginia Giuffre, and has publicly aligned herself with the Trump administration and Patel.
