‘Saturday Night Live’ Promo: Druski Set To Host “Last-Ever Episode Of ‘SNL’”
Comedian Druski will make his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live this Saturday, with The Strokes as musical guest. A promotional sketch has him claim it is the programme’s “last-ever episode”, a joke that appears to play on his reputation for provocative comedy rather than signal that the show is ending.
The promo features cast member Marcello Hernandez questioning Druski about the claim, then reacting to an inaudible suggestion involving a costume and a voice. Druski is promoting his Netflix comedy series, Collect and Praise, due to premiere in December. The show airs at 11.30pm ET and 8.30pm PT on NBC and Peacock; it will be The Strokes’ fifth appearance as musical guest.
