Savannah Guthrie has renewed her public appeal for information about her missing mother, Nancy, six months after her disappearance, saying the family will “never stop looking for answers”. Her statement follows the release by authorities of two ransom notes, including one claiming that Nancy had died, adding to the distress and uncertainty surrounding an investigation that has produced no arrests.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, disappeared from her home near Tucson, Arizona, on 1 February. Savannah said the family believes she was taken from her bed during the night and urged anyone with relevant information to contact authorities anonymously, noting that a reward remains available; investigators have not publicly identified suspects.
