Explained simply

SAXON are a British heavy metal band formed in 1977 and associated with the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, a movement that helped bring the genre to a wider audience. Their long career has included extensive touring and elaborate stage shows.

The “Gods Of Thunder” tour is tied to an album of the same name, scheduled for release in January 2027. The band’s tour dates span several European countries, and a large mechanical eagle used in some performances recalls a stage feature from their early years.
