Collider · 3 hours ago

Alan Ritchson's 2024 faith-based drama Ordinary Angels is due to leave Peacock in the United States, giving audiences a limited window to catch one of the action star's rare dramatic roles. Ritchson has become one of streaming's biggest names in recent years, best known for Prime Video's Reacher and Netflix's War Machine, and is about to return to action with Motor City on 24 July, making this departure a last chance to see a very different side of his work before that release.

Directed by Jon Gunn and co-starring Hilary Swank, the film is based on real events from the mid-1990s and was released theatrically by Lionsgate in 2024, taking around $20 million worldwide against a $13 million budget. It has been well received critically, holding an 84% "Certified Fresh" score on Rotten Tomatoes, with audiences rating it even higher at 99%. The film is set to leave Peacock on 21 July 2026.
