Say Now Aren’t Flirting on New Single, They’re Just ‘Hot and Talking’

Rolling Stone ·

British pop trio Say Now have released “Hot and Talking”, an electro-influenced single about misreading social cues. Its video continues the group’s early-2010s-inspired look as Amelia, Maddie and Ysabelle define their identity after years of releasing occasional singles.

The song follows “Met My Match” and will feature on their debut EP, *Say What You See*, due on 13 November through Atlantic Records. Co-written and executive produced by PinkPantheress, the EP reflects the trio’s gratitude for her mentorship; Say Now say Girls Aloud inspired the new track’s hooks, attitude and outfits.

  • Say Now’s new single is about social cues, not flirting.
  • Their debut EP is due on 13 November.
  • The trio cite Girls Aloud as an influence.
