Katherine Sciver-Brunt, who ranks as England Women's second-highest all-format wicket-taker with 335 dismissals, has accepted her first coaching position since retiring in 2023. The 41-year-old will join Trent Rockets Women as an assistant coach for the upcoming Hundred tournament, returning to the franchise where she previously played across three seasons.

Sciver-Brunt's move follows three years away from competitive cricket, during which she worked as a co-commentator and analyst whilst balancing life as a new mother. She cited her connection to Trent Bridge and the Rockets organisation as the driving factors behind stepping back into an active coaching role, indicating she is eager to mentor players at this level after her time in media.
