SCORPIONS Biopic ‘Wind Of Change’ To Receive North American Theatrical Release In March 2027

The biopic *Wind Of Change*, about the German rock band Scorpions, is set for a North American cinema release in March 2027 through Roadside Attractions. Its release follows a German theatrical debut in January 2027, bringing the band’s story to cinemas in its home country first and then to North American audiences.

Directed by Alex Ranarivelo, the film traces the band’s rise and its ambition to take its music beyond the Iron Curtain. Its cast includes Dominic West as manager Doc McGhee, Alexander Dreymon as guitarist Rudolf Schenker and Ludwig Trepte as singer Klaus Meine. The story centres on the anthem “Wind Of Change”, associated with the end of the Cold War, alongside other Scorpions hits.
