Former Scots College student admits child abuse and animal material offences
Former Scots College student Ethan Ungerboeck, 21, pleaded guilty in Sydney to five offences involving child abuse material, bestiality material and animal-crush material. The pleas followed a prosecution agreement that saw 10 of the original 17 charges withdrawn, after a judge criticised repeated delays in the case.
The convictions relate to possessing and transmitting child abuse material, including material stored on a USB, as well as possessing bestiality and animal-crush material. Two further allegations will be considered during sentencing next month, while Ungerboeck remains on bail at his parents’ home; sentencing is scheduled for next month after more than 10 committal hearings.
