Scream Operator: Haunted House Manager Announced for PC

IGN · 2 months ago

Japhet Interactive has announced Scream Operator: Haunted House Manager, a PC management simulation inspired by operating a classic theme-park attraction such as Disneyland's Haunted Mansion. Players take control of a haunted house from the ride's control booth, handling everything needed to run a successful attraction while trying to scare their guests. The game is a fresh entry in the management-sim genre with a distinctly spooky, theme-park twist.

Presented as a 2D, pixel-art, top-down title, the game tasks players with triggering pre-shows, dispatching ride vehicles, placing props and animatronics, sorting merchandise, upgrading technology, paying the bills and surviving each shift. Scream Operator is due out in the first quarter of 2027, with a playable demo planned for Halloween this year, and interested players can wishlist the game in the meantime. IGN has published 11 first screenshots alongside the announcement.
