See Chris Stapleton Perform ‘Patience’ With Guns N’ Roses Members in Toronto
Chris Stapleton was joined by Guns N’ Roses members Slash and Duff McKagan during his Toronto concert, a night after Stapleton appeared at the band’s show at the same venue. The reciprocal guest appearances highlighted the musicians’ longstanding connection and gave the audience an unexpected performance of Guns N’ Roses’ ‘Patience’.
Stapleton had sung ‘Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door’ with Guns N’ Roses at Rogers Stadium on Wednesday, before Slash and McKagan joined him there on Thursday. Slash also remained onstage for a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Oh Well’, which he and Stapleton recorded for Slash’s 2024 album Orgy of the Damned; Stapleton had previously opened for Guns N’ Roses in Nashville in 2016.
