The Silverlake Conservatory of Music is a music school in Los Angeles, founded in 2001 by Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, Keith “Tree” Barry and Peter Weiss. It offers lessons to about 1,000 students each week and scholarships to more than 200.

The school teaches music and supports students who may need financial help to take part. Benefit concerts can raise money for that work and introduce the organisation to a wider audience. Performances by well-known musicians also connect the school with the wider Los Angeles music scene.
