Becky Parsons, aged 31 with no fixed address, was sentenced to custody following guilty pleas to thirteen counts of theft and two counts of violating a criminal behaviour order. The offences occurred between late June and mid-July 2026, with Parsons targeting One Stop, Boots, and Dunelm Mill, accumulating stolen merchandise worth more than £1,700.

Security footage established that Parsons had deliberately disregarded restrictions imposed in January 2025 that barred her from entering certain shops, including Boots at Cheapside where she was recorded twice. Beyond the 20-month prison sentence, the court ordered her to pay compensation to affected businesses. South Yorkshire Police characterised the offending as targeted and repeated, noting that the criminal behaviour order was instrumental in identifying and apprehending her.
