Serielizados Unveils Lineup with ‘Celeste’ Season 2, Hagai Levi, Diane Morgan and the Sánchez-Cabezudo Brothers Series in Competition (EXCLUSIVE)
Serielizados, Spain's second-largest audience-driven film and TV festival, has revealed the main competition line-up for its 2026 edition, running 19-28 October in Barcelona before streaming on Filmin. The national competition is headlined by the world premiere of "Celeste" season two, one of Spain's most acclaimed series, alongside "Killing a Bear," a drama from the Sánchez-Cabezudo brothers inspired by a real criminal investigation into a bear's death in the Pyrenees. The selections underline the festival's growing international profile, with Rodrigo Sorogoyen chairing the jury for a competition that now draws high-end drama from across Europe.
The six-title international competition is topped by "Etti," a French-German-Dutch co-production from acclaimed creator Hagai Levi based on the diaries of Etty Hillesum, alongside French satire "Camarades" and two British entries already acquired by Spanish streamers: BBC comedy "Ann Droid" from Diane Morgan, which drew 7.6 million views for its opener, and Channel 4 factual drama "Dirty Business" starring David Thewlis and Jason Watkins. German dramas "A Better Place" and "Naked," both produced under the ARD-WDR banner, round out the international slate, reflecting strong involvement from broadcasters Arte France and Movistar Plus+.
