Seriesly Berlin Unveils Full Line-Up With Sessions On ‘Krank Berlin’, Creative Tensions & Co-Productions

Deadline · 3 hours ago

Seriesly Berlin has revealed its complete two-day programme, featuring sessions on high-budget co-production strategies, cross-language creative development and international scripted content. The event, taking place in the German capital, brings together broadcasters, producers and industry specialists to discuss how the television industry is adapting to rising production costs and increasingly complex international partnerships.

Highlights include a session examining the Sky-ZDF co-production Under Salt Marsh and the trust required in multi-partner deals, and a talk from Krank Berlin co-creator Samuel Jefferson on developing German series in English. Keynote interviews hosted by Deadline will feature producer Fleur Winters, who will give an exclusive first look at Dutch drama Grand Hotel By the Sea, and Media International's Matthieu Tholin. A further session, held with the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, will explore co-production across Central and Eastern Europe, including exclusive clips from Icelandic-Polish thriller Signals. Seriesly Berlin runs on 15-16 September at Fotografiska Berlin, funded by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.
