Seth Green has said he would like to play Mordecai in Peacock’s forthcoming live-action adaptation of “Dungeon Crawler Carl”. The actor and “Robot Chicken” creator is already a fan of the book series, and his interest matters because the production is being made by his longtime friend Seth MacFarlane’s company, although Green says he does not want to rely on those connections.

Green drew attention after posting images of Mordecai on Instagram and tagging author Matt Dinniman, MacFarlane and Fuzzy Door. He said a strong fan campaign would be the most persuasive route to casting him; the series, ordered by Peacock in June, is written by “The Mandalorian” writer Chris Yost and follows survivors forced into a deadly alien-run game show alongside Carl’s talking cat companion, Princess Donut.
