‘Shabang’ Scores Drake a 4th Rhythmic Airplay No. 1 From ‘ICEMAN’

Billboard · 2 hours ago

Drake's "Shabang" has become his fourth Rhythmic Airplay No. 1 from the album ICEMAN, topping the Billboard chart dated 22 August. This makes ICEMAN only the fifth project in the chart's history to produce at least four chart-topping singles, and it further cements Drake's already dominant lead as the artist with the most Rhythmic Airplay No. 1s ever.

"Shabang" was the most-played track on US rhythm radio stations during the 7-13 August tracking week, giving Drake his 46th career Rhythmic Airplay No. 1 — well ahead of Rihanna (17), and Chris Brown and The Weeknd (16 each). It replaces Yung Miami's "Spend Dat" atop the chart after that song's four-week run, following earlier ICEMAN chart-toppers "What Did I Miss," "Janice STFU" and "2 Hard 4 the Radio." ICEMAN now joins a select group of albums with four or more Rhythmic Airplay leaders, alongside Drake's own Views, Post Malone's Hollywood's Bleeding, Doja Cat's Planet Her, SZA's SOS and Kendrick Lamar's GNX; Drake has also scored a fifth No. 1 in this stretch via "Which One" from his album HABIBTI.

  • It's his record-extending 46th career Rhythmic Airplay chart-topper
  • ICEMAN joins a rare club of albums with four-plus No. 1s
