Shaboozey performed his new single ‘Cowgirl’ on The Tonight Show, with Summer House star Ciara Miller making a surprise on-stage appearance to dance alongside him. The performance, staged in a Western bar setting, promoted his forthcoming concept album and reinforced the cinematic, Western-inspired direction of the project.
‘Cowgirl’ features on The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales, due for release on 31 July after several years of development. Shaboozey describes the album as a continuous revenge Western centred on Cherie Lee, with themes of redemption and romance; it includes Kehlani, Gunna, Leon Bridges and Orville Peck, and will be supported by the Outlaws Never Die Tour from 8 September in Phoenix through late October.
