Shaboozey to Make Comic-Con Debut for Comic Tied to New Album (Exclusive)
Shaboozey will make his first San Diego Comic-Con appearance to promote *The Outlaw Cherie Lee*, his debut comic book. The three-issue western expands on the world of his forthcoming album, linking his music release to a new storytelling format and a major pop-culture event.
The album, *The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales*, is due on 31 July, while the comic reaches shops on 18 August after an early Comic-Con release. Shaboozey will sign copies at Funko’s booth on 24 July and join a live podcast panel; he created the story with Xaivia Inniss, with writing by Robert Jeffrey II and art by Sean Damien Hill. An eight-time Grammy nominee, he won his first Grammy this year for “Amen” with Jelly Roll.
