It has become the first official World Cup anthem to top the charts since they launched in 2020, buoyed by high-profile performances at the tournament's opening ceremony and its first-ever final halftime show, which also featured Justin Bieber, BTS and Madonna.

"Dai Dai" leads the Billboard Global 200 with 43 million streams and 5,000 sales, and tops the Global Excl. U.S. chart with 36.7 million streams and 4,000 sales, according to Luminate. Oasis's 1990s hit "Wonderwall" has also surged into the top five of both charts, jumping from No. 26 to No. 4 on the Global 200 after being adopted as a terrace anthem by England fans during their World Cup run, with streams up 64% to 35 million worldwide. Other top performers include Ariana Grande's "Hate That I Made You Love Me", Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" and BTS's "Swim", while whether "Dai Dai" holds its top spot next week remains uncertain given the tracking period only partly overlaps the tournament's final days.
