Shania Twain has released ‘Faded Blue Jeans’, a new single featuring Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme. The guitar-led song is the final preview of her forthcoming album ‘Little Miss Twain’, and its collaboration underscores Twain’s continued willingness to blend country influences with rock and blues.

Written solely by Twain, the track draws on a teenage relationship and the belief that young love could last indefinitely, while Homme’s guest vocals add a rougher edge. ‘Little Miss Twain’ is due out on 24 July via Republic Nashville, following earlier singles ‘Dirty Rosie’ and the title track; Homme has also recently appeared on Mastodon’s ‘Snakes For Dinner’ and released a new Queens Of The Stone Age single.
