Sharon Levy is departing Endemol Shine North America after nearly a decade leading the production company, marking a significant leadership transition. Her exit follows the recent merger of Banijay and All3Media, which installed Ben Samek as CEO of Banijay Americas, the division overseeing ESNA.

Levy joined the company in August 2017 as President of Unscripted and Scripted Television, ascending to Chief Content Officer in September 2020 and Chief Executive in January 2023. During her tenure, she oversaw Emmy-winning productions including the Netflix miniseries Ripley, which garnered 14 nominations and won four awards, alongside major reality reboots such as Fear Factor: House of Fear (recently renewed for a second season at Fox) and Deal or No Deal Island (two seasons on NBC). Her departure slate also includes Extreme Makeover: Home Edition at ABC, Lego Masters for Fox, and the CBS series The Summit. Levy will commence her new role in January 2026, though her destination remains unconfirmed; speculation suggests either a rival production group or a transition into the creator economy.
