Former world welterweight champion Kell Brook has hinted that he may return to boxing, prompting renewed discussion of a possible fight with Conor Benn. The suggestion matters because Brook retired after defeating long-term rival Amir Khan in 2022, but remains a high-profile name in British boxing.

The Sheffield fighter shared a social-media post from a boxing gym, which was interpreted as a sign he could be preparing for another bout. Brook, known as “Special K”, won 40 of his 43 professional fights and held the IBF welterweight title; a contest with Benn has previously been discussed but no fight was confirmed.
