Sheffield family ripped apart: Man who stabbed own brother to death spends five years behind bars
A fatal stabbing in Sheffield claimed the life of 28-year-old Kamran Khan in November 2020 following an evening at a house party. The victim was attacked by his own brother at a flat in the Sharrow area, sustaining a fatal chest wound in the early hours of the morning, and a neighbour's emergency call brought police and paramedics to the scene, though he could not be saved.
Thamraze Khan, Kamran's brother, was arrested at the scene and found with evidence including blood on his clothing and hands, along with a suspected murder weapon discovered at the flat. Despite the physical evidence and circumstances pointing to his involvement, he maintained his innocence during police interviews. In July 2021, he received a life sentence with a minimum 15-year term, of which he has now completed five years.
