Sheffield Wednesday 1-1 Blackpool: New boss Dave Challinor watches on as Owls survive Sil Swinkels red card – Sky Sports

Sheffield Wednesday and Blackpool drew 1-1 as new Owls manager Dave Challinor watched from the stands. Wednesday had to see out the match with ten men after Sil Swinkels was sent off, making the point a hard-earned one.

Challinor had recently taken charge and was observing his new side. The result left both teams with a share of the points, while Wednesday’s response to the red card was a central feature of the match.
